From January 22 to February 1, 2026, the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan, hosted the International Exhibition “Art Beyond Boundaries – 2026”, which featured works by artists and students from around the world.
With the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan, the art works of Tajik schoolchildren was presented and exhibited at the Exhibition “Art Beyond Boundaries – 2026”.
Art works of Tajik schoolchildren on themes of Homeland, culture, beautiful nature and landscapes of Tajikistan, traditions and national holidays, such as Navruz and Tirgon were presented. They were awarded certificates of honor by the organizers of the “Art Beyond Boundaries – 2026” and the President of the International Association of SUMI Mr. Tohun Kobayashi.
During his speech, the President of the International Association of SUMI Mr. Tohun Kobayashi expressed gratitude for the active presentation of the creativity of Tajik schoolchildren and thanked the Tajikistan side for its assistance in holding the “Art Beyond Boundaries – 2026”.
Also, at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan, a Tajikistan corner was organized at the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan, as part of the International Exhibition “Art Beyond Boundaries – 2026”. Participants and guests were presented with information about the history and civilization, culture, handcrafts, books, national Tajik clothing and musical instruments, as well as tourism and entertainment opportunities of Tajikistan.
