Meeting with a representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

On June 12, 2026 meeting between Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Farhod SALIM and Director of Central Asia and the Caucasus Division of the East and Central Asia and the Caucasus Department of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) KONO Kenichi was held.

During the meeting, issues of the following the results of the visit of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon to Japan (19-20.2025), expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan in the fields of science and education, training of specialists, transport, infrastructure and industry were discussed.
