Meeting of the Ambassador with the New Group of JDS Participants

On 27 August 2026, a meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tokyo with a group of officials of the Republic of Tajikistan who will pursue their studies in Japan through the Human Resources Development Scholarship Program (JDS).

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan F. Salim conveyed to the participants the guidance and words of encouragement expressed by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, during his cordial meeting with Tajik students in Tokyo in December 2025. In this regard, the Ambassador emphasized the importance of making full use of the opportunities provided by leading Japanese universities to acquire advanced knowledge, professional expertise, and practical skills.

Referring to the initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of youth education and development, the Ambassador underscored the important role of the younger generation in the future of the country. He emphasized that, as a constructive and dynamic force of society, young people should apply the knowledge, experience, and skills gained during their studies in Japan towards the sustainable development and progress of the Republic of Tajikistan.
