Meeting with the IAEA Director General

On July 1, 2022, in Vienna, on the sidelines of political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Austria, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farhod Salim and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the IAEA were discussed and the main attention was paid to the implementation of IAEA projects in the Republic of Tajikistan, including the training of Tajik specialists and the participation of Tajikistan in regional IAEA projects, the expansion of technical cooperation and the application of safeguards.
