Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Maldives

On June 21, 2025, in Istanbul, on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Khaleel.

 During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of  Tajik-Maldives relations in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

The parties focused on establishing cooperation in the field of ecology and climate change.
