Foreign Minister Participates and Addresses OIC Foreign Ministers' Meeting

On 21 June 2025, the 51st Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in Istanbul, Türkiye with the participation of the heads of state and delegations of the Member States of the Organization.

The meeting addressed the issues related to the current situation in the countries of the Organization's region, in particular the current situation in the State of Palestine, the joint fight against modern threats and challenges, such as terrorism and extremism, as well as the Israeli attack on Iran.

During his speech, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin recalled the effective measures taken by the Government of Tajikistan to combat terrorism and extremism.

Minister stated that the expansion of economic and trade ties among OIC countries through the implementation of relevant programs is one of the important factors in addressing economic and social problems, including poverty reduction and provision of sustainable living conditions in the OIC region.
