Presentation of Letters of Credence by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Maldives

On June 23, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Maldives (with residence in New Delhi), Mr. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, presented his credentials to the President of the Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the President of the Maldives.

The President of Maldives congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his mission, wished him every success in fulfilling his diplomatic duties, and expressed opinion on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the areas of tourism, education, science, trade, investment and other fields.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Maldives were established on October 6, 1993.
