Meeting in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

On February 11, 2022, in Budapest, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Hungary, Idibek Kalandar, met with the Head of the Department of Russia and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Szergej Szücs.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current level of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, highly appreciated strengthening of ties over the past period, and also exchanged views on possible areas for expanding mutually beneficial relations, both at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations.

The interlocutors also considered the schedule of holding joint events dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year.
