In order to strength the bilateral relations with USA, in 2002 the Republic of Tajikistan officially inaugurated its Embassy in the United States of America. Since then the Embassy of Tajikistan opened up its doors and has been working in full capacity in Washington.
The Embassy is located in historical building so called Schneider Triangle, a collection of Richardsonian Romanesque and Queen Anne Style residences designed and built in 1889 by Thomas Franklin Schneider. The twenty-two buildings formed a complete block with a central courtyard. It forms a triangle due to the street layout of DC. Schneider Triangle is a small slice of American history, which was added to the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites in 1978 and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Nowadays, the one of the twenty-two-building by the address 1005 New Hampshire Avenue, North West, Washington, DC 20037 serving as Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United States of America.
Also, in the same building locating the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the USA to provide a wide array of services to both Tajik citizens in the States as well as US citizens.
