Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

On March 28, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, in the framework of his working visit to New-York to attend the UN High-Level Meeting “Climate and Sustainable Development for All”, met with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Ms. Alice Wells.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the results of annual bilateral consultations between two countries, strengthening cooperation in format C5+1, the fight against terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking, strengthening borders, the situation in Afghanistan.
