Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan received European Union Special Envoy to Afghanistan

On February 3, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the European Union’s Special Envoy to Afghanistan Mr. Tomas Niklasson.

A productive dialogue was held on issues related to the situation in Afghanistan,  as well as cooperation in countering contemporary challenges and threats.

The parties also exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union in various spheres.
