Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

On 27 September 2019 on the sidelines of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated and addressed the Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

During his statement, Mr. Muhriddin noted that Tajikistan remains strong adherent to strengthening the role of the OIC in resolving the pressing issues of the Islamic world, and enhancement of coordination in addressing current challenges.

He also mentioned that Tajikistan consistently supports international and regional initiatives, including within the framework of the OIC, and takes effective measures in fighting against terrorism and extremism.
