On May 5, 2020 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin had a video-tele-conversation with the ICRC President Peter Maurer.
During the conversation the parties discussed important issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the elimination of anti-personnel mines, support for people with disabilities, as well as the elimination of the effects of natural disasters and the situation in Afghanistan.
The sides also exchanged views on the prevention of spread of COVID-19, its consequences for the country, as well as the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Tajikistan in this area.
