Telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif, in connection with the death and injury of a large number of citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as a result of a brutal terrorist attack on a convoy of vehicles in the northwestern region of this country. It reads, in particular:

“We strongly condemn this barbaric act of criminal forces and express our sincere condolences to you, the relatives and friends of the victims of this terrorist act, and all the friendly people of Pakistan. We wish a full recovery to all those injured.”
