In the modern world, the development of entrepreneurship and investment is the basis of the economic progress of each country, the priority is comprehensive support and creation of favorable conditions in the economic policy of many countries, including Tajikistan.

In this regard, in order to strengthen economic and investment cooperation, on the initiative and direct participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, for the implementation of activities within the framework of the announcement of 2022-2026, as the years of industrial development and assistance on this basis to strengthen and expand business and investment cooperation will be held “Dushanbe International Investment Forum”.

The main directions of the forum

Taking into account the current processes in the region and the world, as well as the development of the world economy, the main directions of the Forum are developed on the basis of three main points:

1) digitization of Tajikistan's economy;

2) development of the green economy in the Republic of Tajikistan;

3) development of the industrial sector in the Republic of Tajikistan, taking into account the possibility of exporting products to the markets of the countries of the region.

Goals of the Forum

1. attracting the attention of the heads of large foreign investors, international financial organizations and companies interested in entering the market of Tajikistan and the region;
5. presentation of investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan;
5. consideration of proposals for accelerated attraction of foreign direct investment to Tajikistan and prospects for the creation of production cooperatives;
5. strengthening the production process of imported products and increasing export potential;
5. the main cooperation of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and investors;
5. creating opportunities for the development of digital business for the implementation of the fourth strategic goal-accelerated industrialization of the country.

Registration, opening and holding of the forum

1. Registration of foreign participants through a special forum website (www.dushanbeinvest.tj) it is going to be implemented 10 days before the forum starts.

2)  On the first day of the event, the official opening of the forum, work in industry panels, bilateral meetings (B2B/B2G) with the leadership and representatives of responsible ministries and departments and entrepreneurs, as well as a visit to the exhibition will take place. The theme of the panels is managed by ministries and departments, including

- Ministry of Economic Development and Trade;

- Ministry of Industry and New Technologies;

-Ministry of Energy and Water Resources;

- Ministry of Health and Social Protection;

- Ministry of Agriculture;

- Ministry of Transport;

- Committee for Tourism Development;

- The executive body of the state power of the city of Dushanbe is additionally determined.

(The respective panels are responsible for presenting the investment opportunities of each priority industry-industry ministries and departments).

2. On the 2nd day of the event, it is planned to visit industrial enterprises and cultural and tourist sites of Tajikistan.

Opening of the Forum

The Forum begins with a greeting and an introductory speech by the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon (by agreement).

Heads and representatives of States, visitors and investors should also be taken into account.

Working part of the Forum

After the official part, the working part of the forum will continue.

It is expected that the working part of the forum will be devoted to various aspects of the development of modern trade, issues and problems, ways and methods of activating the process of attracting investment, strengthening the production of imported products, increasing exports, ensuring the development of interstate and investment trade, tourism, as well as digitalization, will present speeches and presentations in them, and after an exchange of views will summarize the results of the panels and bilateral meetings.

Participants of the Forum:

- President of the Republic of Tajikistan (by agreement);

- heads of state bodies, entrepreneurs and investors,;

- heads of state and large companies of foreign investors, international financial organizations and development partners.

- private sector, business associations, public organizations of entrepreneurial direction;

- specialists and experts;

- representatives of the media.

Speakers

The business sector presents speeches and presentations by participants, entrepreneurs and investors, representatives of foreign countries and experts.

Form of the Forum

The International Investment Forum "Dushanbe - 2023" will begin on September 29, 2023 with an introductory speech by the speakers.

Then, in the working sector, speakers from government agencies in the real sectors of the economy present reports and information on investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Also, the heads of investment companies, international and financial organizations, and the private sector present presentations and information about activities and experience in various sectors.

After the presentations, the speakers answer the questions of the forum participants.

Participants can express their opinion on the presentations presented in the business sector.

To further clarify the issues, the parties can hold questions, conversations and negotiations in the field of a bilateral meeting "entrepreneur with entrepreneur".

The forum assumes the possibility of signing agreements, memorandums of cooperation or specific cooperation agreements between entrepreneurs and investors. The preparation of the noted issues is carried out by the organizers of the forum.

The Forum will be summed up by a representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The draft Final Act will be previously available to the participants, and they will be given the opportunity to provide feedback, and the draft will be supplemented and adopted taking into account suggestions and suggestions.

This concludes the international investment forum "Dushanbe".

Meeting "Entrepreneur with Entrepreneur"

At the bilateral meetings "entrepreneur with entrepreneur", entrepreneurs and investors can hold meetings among themselves or with heads and representatives of bodies and departments.

It will focus on establishing trade relations between companies, as well as potential investors and suppliers, and a more detailed acquaintance with working and living conditions in the industries.

Moderators

Moderators are determined by domestic and international experts, industry specialists or government agencies in cooperation with the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Moderators are invited based on a recommendation (to identify the appropriate persons).

Organizational work of the Forum

The organizational work of the forum is carried out within the framework of the interdepartmental headquarters under the State Committee for Investment and State Property with the approval of the working plan of the headquarters approved by the executive office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the same time, if necessary, it is planned to create an organizing committee for the preparation of the forum under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Information support

The forum's information campaign begins a month before the event.

It is assumed that the use of all possible means of communication will be established, including television, radio, various social networks, diplomatic missions, etc.

On the eve of the Forum, it is planned to create an information center (Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting), which, in cooperation with the republican and foreign media, publishes information and video recordings.

Printed materials and other promotional materials will also be available to forum participants on the days of the planned events.

The organizers of the forum invite media representatives to the event and provide the necessary materials.
