Mirzozoda Zohir Tohir

Mirzozoda Zohir Tohir was born in 1981 in the city of Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. In 2003, graduated from the National State University of Tajikistan, in 2007 from the Beijing University of Language and Culture. In 2011-2012 he attended Career Development Program in Bonn, Germany.

From 2002 to 2003, he worked as a specialist and manager of the Department of Relations with Foreign Organizations of the Business Support Center of Dushanbe.

In 2004-2007, he worked as a specialist of the first degree, then the chief specialist of the Department of Industry and Trade of the Office of the Ismoili Somoni district, Dushanbe.

In 2007-2008, Mirzozoda Tohir.  worked as a leading specialist of the Foreign Investment Department of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.

From 2008 to 2011, he continued his work in the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan as a chief specialist and then as the Head of the Analytical Department.

In 2011, he was appointed as the Head of the State Investment Projects Coordination Department of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In 2012, he was appointed as the Head of the Investment Promotion Department of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and continued his work in this position until 2015.

From 2015 to 2022, he served as the head of the Migration Office of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation.

On December 19, 2022 Mirzozoda Tohir assumed the duties of the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istanbul.

Fluent in Russian, English and German languages.

Married and has 4 children.
